Bio

Joseph M. Cwikla, CSP, founded JMC Consulting in 1987. He has extensive experience working with all levels of corporate, divisional, plant and union personnel on safety, health, loss control and engineering matters. He has completed projects for large and small companies across the United States in a wide variety of safety and health areas including: training, auditing, needs assessments, policy and procedure writing, safety design, new business development and seminar presentation.

Before founding JMC Consulting, Joe had a twenty-year career with a major chemical and diversified consumer products company with over 120,000 employees. He began his career as an industrial engineer, then directed the safety, health and security program for a 10-location 2700 employee division and went on to the associate director level in the corporate HS&EA department.

Joe is a Certified Safety Professional with a specialty in engineering aspects. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a master's in business administration from Loyola University.
